Le suisse
“Le suisse” has been conceived simply on a personal need of a double desk for two persons. The space in the living room wasn’t that wide at that time, but the two of us needed a personal surface where to work and do personal things. From there the idea to have a stocking system in common in order to gain precious centimeters.
I’m working really closed to architects, and I’m constantly charmed by their capacity to create usefull surfaces where it seems impossible. Especially swiss architects tend to design compact volumes where the entire program can fit in it in the most efficient way as possible, it seems that no superficial ideas are accepted. The beauty in this strict process of creation lies especially into the comfort in living the architecture (or using the object), construction details and choice of materials.
